Default my turbo setup progress almost finished

here's my setup I've been building for the past few months.

It has completely consumed me. what I originaly started out and assumed would be around a 4.4k project has turned into a 7k project w/o a motor build.

in the pictures you can see this

pwr 550hp fmic
pwr civic dual core radiator
apexi n1 3"turbo muffler
onefab 3" downpipe
onefab equal length manifold
tial 38mm wastegate
fast-turbo braided oil feed and drain kit
precision sc61 .63/.60 a/r

whats not in the pictures is this
aem ems with acer 340t slimbook laptop
rc 750cc injectors
golden eagle fuel rail/vacume manifold
greddy catch can
greddy turbo timer
greddy el 60mm boost & egt gauges
walbro 255 fuel pump
blitz dd bov
sx high flow 6an fpr

and here is a quick pic of where it sits now.

to matt at onefab
ben at importparts.com
both you guys kick ***

It's only money bro. Money is useless unless you spend it on something that gives you joy. Looks like a nicely planned setup.

Wow

It's funny how turbo projects get really expensive really fast!

Top notch products you got there, I believe you will be very happy with that setup!

yeah I totaly agree with you on that one.

Thanks for all the compliments guys, I did quite a bit of time into the thought of this kit. I also had alot of help from my freinds in ludeconduct and Matt at onefab

The most I can possibly hit on pump gas. I'll probably end up upgrading my wastegate before I retune it on high boost. I'm hoping for around 500whp on 92 octane

yeah, you gotta start somewhere and I figured I'd build the setup first then build the motor. I can work the kinks out on the turbo setup on this motor and rebuild when its good. wanna ship it off to benson here soon

can you explain to me how you are going to pull this off on stock sleeves and 92 octane?

the 500whp level seams way to high for pump gas, you might do it on race fuel,

Im not doubting that you guys have seen some one post saying they hit 500+ on 92 but the chemical limits of this gas can not with stand the amount of compression with out pre detonation...unless they have a block pushing 300+ before it even sees boost (and thats 300+with displacement not compression). and if they did hit that number on 92 the timing was so freaking retarded that its pointless.

Im not arguing to start ****...I just dont want to see people trying to hit 500+ on pump gas.

Im making 250 with a offset test pipe on 9 psi, with out the test pipe I made 271 on pump gas and that was pushing the chemical limits of the gas with out severly retarding the timing. If I lower the compression with a larger headgasket and some head studs I can push 10-14 psi safely making about 300-320 hp.

Im sorry I didnt coment the first time...oustanding components you have collected there! dont stop there...go for broke and do the whole 9!

uh no you didnt dude............ and read where I said I was planning on working the kinks out of the turbo kit then building my motor. Does it make much sence to work the kinks out at 16psi....... no . 500whp on pump gas is possible and thats what Im shooting for. **** YOU noob for trying to be smart and make me look dumb.

You are the Idot that cant read! Twice!

I would laugh at your *** too

Ledetec thats an awesome build you have there I am sure you will be able to reach your goals w/that setup U are deff right about the W/G, you will want to upgrade And B18C1CYA is right....It will be tough to get the full 500 on pump! Arround 400 is about as far as I would go on pump. 500+ on race gas
Its money well spent </TD></TR></TABLE>

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1033030

they did it on a b18 with 84.5mm bore on an sc61(same turbo I have)so why can't I do it. Stock h22 bore is 87.5 and I would bore to 88.5 and run 9.1 comp pistons as well.

Good luck to ya on the build up. Would you mind posting your dyno results when you get it tuned. I'd love to see exactly how much power that thing makes on pump gas. As for the motor thing, lets not get into that. It does seem a little outrageous, but at the same time I know of a guy that has pushed 400+whp out of a D-series. If he can get that type a power on that motor an H22 should be able to get 500+whp when the internals have been done. Keep us posted on your progress. :thumbup

I'm confused...are we talking about 500hp on pumpgas, or are we talking about 500hp on pumpgas AND on stock block?

Also, are you worried about running out of injector? The h22's dont seem to be as efficient as the B series...

Stock ignition setup?
