Default My Solution to Charge pipe popping off.

Well I got sick and tired of the Charge piping coming off every other day after some hard boosting. I guess it was a combo of the engine moving backwards, pulling on the coupler and the boost which blew the coupler off.
I wasn't able to use T-bolt clamps on this section of the piping because it is somewhere around 2.75", and I only had 2.5" ones.
I got the supplies from a local hardware store for like $3. Here are some pics of what I did:

Now there is no tension on the coupler, and the coupler is there just to seal the piping. I went out for a long drive, boosted alot and it didn't budge, so hopefully it will hold up.

I have silicon couplers with T-bolt clamp's on every other connection except there, I just didn't find a 2.75" silicon coupler. . .

this is a great idea for someone that doesn't have access to a welder but PLEASE use that Tread LOCKING Liquid. you wouldn't want the nut on the inside to come loose and go into your motor.

Good Idea My friend used a ratchet strap wrapped around the IC and the IC piping to keep his from coming off.

some small weld'd dots around the perimeter of the ends of my piping also did a nice job.

I wish I had access to a bead roller!
