My new toy - Need some advise!

Re: My new toy - Need some advise! (Honda_Fanatic)
how much power are you looking to make? Sounds like you've got a really good start already.
Pretty much need a good engine management and injectors...on top of the usually turbo stuff. (manifold..blov..wastegate...ect.)

How much power do you think I can make safely with this setup? For engine management are you talking about Hondata, crome, etc...? Aren't the 450's enough?

450cc injectors cant run on a stock ecu, thats almost double the fuel, not to mention when you boost it the ecu cannont compensate for boost because there are no cell's on the honda maps to positive boost values.
i would hope the car already has some sort of engine management on it if you have the 450cc injectors already installed and its running.

I have a chipped obd1 p06 installed right now, tuned with uberdata. Runs great but the idle isn't perfect.

with your already lower compression ration, I wouldn't hesitate to boost that block.
Power wise, you could turn a lot out of it. 300hp would probably make you really happy. Honestly, I would price everything out, and then honestly decided how much power you want and need. From there, we can direct you to the correct turbo and whatnot nice rig

I am looking to get about 300hp 275tq?? Or right around there.
What about my head? Is it boost safe? Anything I should do to it right away? I am thinking about going VTEC eventually, but was hoping I could go boost first and build a head later?
