Default My fuel problem is still not solved...yet!

As you know I posted awhile back about my car running lean @ 7 psi (8:1 fmu, 310cc, vafc, walbro 255lph intank fuel pump). Well since then I decided to get a MSD inline fuel pump to see if it would solve my fuel problem. IT DIDNT! My egt readings are still the same and my spark plugs still look a bit white. So then I decided to slap on a fuel pressure guage and at idle I the reading was 50-52 psi. I then checked to see if my fmu was working and did this by blowing into the tube. The fuel pressure did go up when I did this so I know its not the fmu. I dont know what I'm gonna do...my fuel components seem to be working, but my car is running lean! Is it because I have a 2000 gsr...the obdII enhanced chip is advancing my timing or something? I really need some help!

Its a simple problem. The problem is, under boost your car is not getting enough fuel. Most all the kits come with 10-1 FMU, yours is a 8:1. Thats the wrong size for your motor.

Your V-AFC helped a great deal, a HUGE amount, but it won't cure all your problems.

You will be very happy:

Selling your FMU, selling your V-AFC, and getting a Hondata S200 with boost.

Perfect 12.5:1 A/F ratio, better gas mileage by far and more power. The solution to all your problems.

Good luck with it, I hope I helped.

Jeff

Hey wassup Jeff...how's it going? Yea I would get the hondata s200 but right now I dont have the money for that so I just need to find a cheaper way to fix it first, then get the hondata later.

You do realize Hondata is the cheaper way. Sell the fmu and magic box to get the S200. Or learn a **** load about electronics and logic circuits, and build your own stand-alone for $50.
