Thats a seriously nice collection of parts. Keep us updated on how the car performs especially the traction bars. Good job.

got lucky on the tracktion bars alignment
wonder how often that happens?

did you have a different mani and dp before the FR stuff, or just have those coated and wrapped?

Yeah, I couldn't believe the alignment was dead on. The guy even said if he attempted to adjust it, it could do more harm than good (i.e. it was dead on).

I've always had the full-race stuff. I didn't want to build the kit twice. So I was patient and pieced it together whenever money was available.

Well, just got back from the track. I wasn't expecting a whole lot, considering this is the first time the car has made it down the track. I don't think it did to bad. And before anyone busts my ***** about reaction time; my intent was to get my best ET (not reaction time). However, I did have a .500 (perfect reaction time) on the tree tonight. I made a total of five passes. These were my best two. I was running .8 bar.

The reason why this looks different... the stoner at the end of the track broke the printer (quoted from one of the guys on the starting line). I had to go up in the tower to get the printed slip.

One other thing. A buddy of mine was running stock (autozone) axles on his 300+ hatch with spray. Broke one axle on the starting line, went home came back to the track, repaired the car, and the very next pass nearly wrecked after hitting the nitrous going into third...broke the axle again.

Meantime, gator axles still kick'n ***!

just for a note.

I've ran a 12.09@114.8 with a 1.79 60ft on 24.5x8.5x15in slicks at 12psi. So your MPH will be good to get you lower, just work on traction.

The 60 foot was anywhere from 2.0-2.2. It was the first time down the track with the new setup. Alot more is to come. I still have nearly 200 hp yet to tap into.

I know the car (well the driver anyway) will get better. I want to see how far I can take it on the drag radials first before moving onto the slicks. We'll see...
