Default My AEM EMS update...

So far I am liking the setup. EVERYTHING is user definable. And the base maps run the car... pretty decent. As with any EM system you going to need to have it tuned. You CANT buy the unit and expect the base maps be the exact same as that vehicles stock ECU. And Im glad to say that Im in cali. near AEM and they are gonna come out and tune it for me when the time comes. So far the support from them has been second to none. They even emailed me new base maps for a turbo GSR that they tuned so that I have a more defined map for my car until its tuning time.

Were the base maps good enough for you to start the car and drive it around? I am searching for a engine management system right now.

i would like a comparison (if possible) of this system and the hondata boost series (2b, 3b, 4b). that would be great.

Yeah me too. I'm looking to get an engine management system soon. If you don't mind me asking how much did it end up costing.

I just got mine on friday. I have an appointment on tuesday at R&D dyno to tune it. The owner of R&D is real tight with AEM, so I'm sure someone from AEM will be there overseeing everything. Yeah, I wish they had some more boosted maps for us FI guys. We'll see on tuesday. This thing is really intense.....so many varibles.
Hey, could someone send me a copy of the turbo GSR map? I would like to compare it against the Vortech map.

Darren is VERY good and very tight with AEM. I will be consulting him and John at AEM for tuning.
