Tuning ??
Hey guys I just got my boosted Ls vtec running and made 57 miles till my series 1 EMS crapped out.. Is there any way I can take the tune from the EMS and put it on a Hondata S300? I have the tune saved on a laptop.
To be honest I'm new to any engine management systems..

Re: Tuning ??
Honestly... No, not really. The AEM RPM and MAP "breakpoints" are different than Hondata's. You can manually translate if you wanted to do the work. But the main reason is AEM values are in ms pulsewidth, and Hondata is an an arbitrary number system. Can't really correlate the two.

Re: Tuning ??
Hmm.. aem is wanting me to send them the unit, charge $75 to say what's wrong, then charge whatever is needed to fix it.
I also have a friend wanting to trade his working S300 for my broke EMS.

both are great box's and proven man it's really up to you.
I guess I am one of the lucky ones because ive had my AEM V1 for 2 years now without a snag yet, and its nice alot more things to mess with than my novice *** would like, but nice
