Default my 380 whp h22 wants more power...how about a T-61

i am making 380 whp off of a t3/t4oe 60 trim turbo w/ a .63ar t31 turbine section..
but the power band is awsome

see here run done at 18psi:

i would like to have a very similar power band but with more whp of course..
goal would be around 450 whp with good strong torque like 375wtq..on pump gas

i don't think my 60 trim will take me there..so i have been looking through different options and i really like the t3/t61 turbo with a .63ar stage 5 turbine

experts??? or

have you ever thought about going with a bigger turbine housing. I know the T3/T4 60 trim can do 450whp. going with a bigger turbine housing your going to get a little bit more lag but it a cheaper alternative. just a throught.

Go with a sc61 if you dont want much more lag, but more overal power capability. You could also check out a gt3767 with a t3 turbine side. These are good for over 600whp.

Justin

meaning using a .82 a/r w/ a stage 5 wheel???
also i would like to achieve this on 93 pump gas...

now if i were to get the t3/t61 with a .63 a/r turbine housing and stage 5 exhaust wheel

how bad at the same boost levels(18psi) would my spool time be?

off 1000rpm?

anyone w/ a t3/t61 on a h22 dyno??

get a holset snail:

hx35 turbine housing 12cm (apprx. .53a/r) or a 14cm housing
hx40 compressor housing (approx 71cfm/min)
trust me it will pull w/ a nice spool

that graphs not to far off from mine..
but what a.r turbine housing was it with?
the sc61 looks like it hits 16psi at 4750-5000rpm
my 60 trim hits 18psi @ 4500rpm

bump..

what trim size is the sc61 compressor wheel ??
cause if it just a little bigger than the 60 trim, does it real make sense to get it?
