MSD pro-billet distributor,worth the money on turbo build?
i know this has been covered before,but i didnt find too much good info lately.Has anyone run this recently,ill be going with the neptune setup,turbo build.Mainly just interested to know if anyone knows for sure if its needed,worth the money,or just waste of time.

I have had a couple come through here. Only problem I saw was rotors were loose. Had an old customer's coil go out sooner than expected. Other than that they were great. If you have an AEM EMS I would look more into T1's cam trigger kit

just put some locktite on the rotor screws. they will fall out. luckily i heard mine when at a stop light, and it missed all the pickups. but i have seen others destroy the dizzy. 5 or 6 people i know of off hand.

mine worked well untill the pin snapped that hold the dizzy to the cam. then nothing worked... this was in the middle of qualifying at a race

Mine went out last night, after being in my car for about 2 months now the distributor that was replaced 2 months ago is now back on. Hmmmmm thats funny.

Id say it's worth the money if you are running AEM EMS or other non-Honda based ECU. If you are running a Honda ECU then keep the stock dizzy, it works fine.

I dont know, there was no spark from the wire or the coil. I called MSD they said to send everything back and they will test and replace what ever caused the problem. I should get everything back in about 2 weeks. Yay for warranties, boo for having to use them.
