"Fuzzy dice and neon aren’t the style of this High Performance Giant —
They have them, but they have to qualify at 200 + MPH

Cleveland, Ohio (April 25, 2003) Mr. Gasket Performance Group unveiled a complete line of high performance products for Import Racing and Sport Compact Performance markets today at the International Auto Salon (IAS) held in Los Angeles, California. These new product lines – G-Sport and G-Sport Pro – add to Mr. Gasket Performance Group’s industry-leading line up of brands including ACCEL, Erson, Hurst, Hays, Lakewood, Mallory, ACCEL DFI, ACCEL Motorcycle Products and Mr. Gasket. While Mr. Gasket already offers a broad range of import performance product through its other brands, the G-Sport (acronym for Mr. Gasket Sport) line is intended to focus on the true Sport Compact performance enthusiast. Mr Gasket recognized the importance of this high-growth segment of the automotive performance aftermarket early in its developmental stages and has always focused on the "high end" performance segment while still servicing the street and dress-up customer. This philosophy is also the backbone behind the G-Sport launch. The flagship product is the industry’s first true high performance Crate Engine program. Aptly named the "Beast", this engine is every Honda owner’s dream – 220 horsepower at the wheels out of a box from a normally aspirated long-block.

According to Dean Blum, the G-Sport Product Manager and the "Grand Wizard" of the crate engine development program, "The Beast was developed through a coalition of racing engine experience so strong that its performance and reliability are truly indisputable. So confident are we in this Beast’s abilities, we back it with a 12 month or 12 thousand mile warranty."

"Built from the finest hand-picked components in the world," Blum continued, "every part is brand spankin’ new right down to the last oil pan bolt. We did our homework to ensure that you receive the most reliable high performance Honda replacement available anywhere." Developed to Mr. Gasket’s exacting specifications by Tom Payn, President of PAYN Technologies, Inc., technical innovation in this project is nothing short of stunning. Tom Payn is a master at building big horsepower in small packages and "The Beast" is no exception.

Building a close-tolerance, high performance engine in volume can’t be performed in a back yard. "We searched long and hard to locate the best company for the job," confided Blum, "before finally stopping in Livonia, Michigan at Performance Assembly Solutions (PAS). It only took one visit - they got the nod hands down." You might not be aware of this company now, but you will be soon! PAS is a joint venture with Uni-Boring and Roush Industries Inc. (Yes, that Roush.) PAS is a QS9000/ISO9002 registered company that specializes in niche precision manufacturing, performing work for GM, Indian Motorcycles, and Roush crate engines, among others. "And you should see their surgical-clean build facilities" Blum said, "It’s amazing! I doubt your mom’s kitchen was ever this clean."

"Every G-Sport Pro engine is shipped to you in this sweet, solid wood crate that that would look great in your living room as a coffee table — really!" Blum continues, "OK, I know, get to the good part. Yes, this engine #@&$in’ ROCKS! And we hope you like to buy tires. Because our XG20 naturally aspirated Honda 2.0 liter engine will provide 220 HP to whatever wheels you put on!" Each performance component has been specially designed and custom made for this G-Sport engine, including a super-strong G-Sport Pro block from Dart Machinery, G-Sport Pro rods from Oliver Racing, G-Sport Pro pistons from WISECO, G-Sport Pro spec crank, G-Sport spec cams, and a host of Mr. Gasket gaskets. This truly is a coalition of the worlds best. You have Mr. Gasket’s word on it.

With facilities in Cleveland, OH, Wixom, MI and Carson City, NV, the Mr. Gasket Performance Group’s renowned brands include ACCEL Performance Ignition Products, ACCEL/DFI Engine Management Systems, Erson Cams, Hays Clutches, Hurst Shifters, Lakewood Industries Safety and Suspension, Mallory Ignition and Mr. Gasket Performance and Styling Products, in addition to G-Sport and G-Sport Pro. For more information, contact the Mr. Gasket Performance Group, 10601 Memphis Ave. #12, Cleveland, OH 44144, 216.688.8300, fax: 216.688.8305, or visit http://www.mrgasket.com. "

Sounds dope. Too bad it's probably gonna cost and arm and leg.

It's cool that they offer a warranty, but where do you get it fixed? do you send back your motor? lol

Available in 230hp and 250hp versions, if shipping wasn’t an issue it would actually be a deal.

That's not whp...Crank.

220whp is definately respectable...guaranteed to be 15,000 without trans.
