Upgrading to stiffer mounts limits engine movement, therefore you get more positive shifting, less wheel hop, more direct power transfer, etc.. But when you stiffen up the drivetrain, physics says that it will increase vibrations, which isn't a bad thing, just a by product.

Billet/poly mounts like hasports are not true solid mounts. If you are looking for a true solid mount that allows little to zero engine movement, look for the Avid Pro Series mounts. All the fastest and quickest guys in the country seem to be using them...

You can use any mounts you want. It wont affect driveability.

But if you do decide to use the solid ones, expect alot of vibration. Your dash/windows and will make significantlly loud vibration noises!

No big deal, if you dont mind the vibration.

Hasport offers solid billet inserts for our mounts

while you can drive on the street with solid mounts there will be lots of vibration
