Default motor mount......any problems here ??

I was just thinking, since everytime I shifted, the engine jerks like it's about to come off, has any of you have any problem with cracked or worn motor mounts after turbo ???

Supposedly, the driver side motor mount always cracks, mine is broken right now.
the guys at the shop down here say they had to replace theirs about 4 times since they had their cars. (which are 99 si's) So yeah, it's probably broken. I would get the it replaced and get some energy suspension motor mount inserts.

not the energy suspension ones, they do vibrate a tiny bit, but not nearly as bad as solid motor mounts (like prothane)

You probably just need to change the driver side motor mount, probably get it from the dealership for about $60 - $80. The serts will cost you about $50. You can find out how to install them at jdmfan.com in the technical link.
