Default Motor done

Well my motor is finished and glad it is. One step closer to turbo and to hit the strip. It is a sleeved 2.0l ls/vtec w/ inline pro ss mani, sc6152e, type r cams, p&p gsr head w/ferra valves and guides, brain crower dual valve springs and ti retainers, type r cams, arais 9:2:1 forged pistons, ealge rods, balanced and polished crank, new honda race rod bearings, cc stage 5 clutch, quaife lsd, dss stg 2 axles. Thats it for now a few more parts to get and its done and going to be tuned by tony1. Quick question to I didn't have them do the ls/vtec i have the golden eagle lsvtec kit. When I tap to plug the vtec oil supply do I need to take apart the whole head to clean out the shavings or can I blow them oout from somewhere. I want to do this by myself to learn and save a little here and there.

you know, I was thinking the same thing. It can't be that much shavings, besides it seems like as if the guy at the machineshop was goimg to do it at the end anyways since he told me that if i wanted him to tap and plug the hole for me to take the plug to him when i pick up the head.

How do you have eagle rods in your B17 when Eagle doesn't make a B17 rod?

Thanks for the help. Did it already. Put grease on the tap to get the shavings to stick to it. Then blew it out arter done to be sure.
