Whats the most boost you can get out of a profec B? Ive heard only twice of what your wastegate spring is? In my case its a .65 bar TiAL Wastegate so that gives me 1.3 bar. thats like 18lbs of boost .

Anyone?

 

i have a .65 tial wg, and got 15 psi on the low setting and about 25 psi at the high setting; now i am using the profec a and can't seem to boost more tha 23 psi. gonna have to do over the learning process b/c of different vacum line routing.

 

was it turned all the way up? any problems with spiking?

 

yeah, the low **** was turned all the way and the high **** was about 95% turned. no prbblems with spiking.

 

the selenoid is good for plenty of boost. Ive run mine up to 30 on a few occasions and it held no problem. Greddy also claims 150% of the wastegate setting.

 

The boost controller only goes 14lbs over the wastegate spring rate to a max of 28psi. there is a way to get it to go over 28psi but you need to call greddy to find out how. I knwo it can be done but i never needed more than 28 psi. I have a 20psi spring and high boost all the way up is 28psi even if i spray it it doesnt creep.
