Default GReddy Profec A won't hold boost correctly

Well this is a little bit strange, but I'll give it a shot.

BTW:
Tial wastegate
.5bar spring
12lbs: low boost
16lbs: high boost

I've got the Greddy Profec A Electronic boost controller hooked up right now and I'm having a problem holding steady boost. The calibration goes like this. You reset it and P1 is displayed, then you do a full throttle run so it can see where the wastegate spring is at and then it displays this. I do this and it displays .7bar which is almost correct since I have a .5bar spring. Now it goes to P2 and you run it again so it verifies this. Sometimes it'll go and be fine and sometimes it'll error and I have to set it manually...no big deal. In either case I get strange boosting problems.

Sometimes it'll go to 7lbs (.5bar) and wait until about 5.7k rpm and then the boost controller will take over and hold around 12lbs.

Sometimes it'll overshoot 12lbs and go to 15 then fall back and wiggle around 11-13 lbs (i can hear the wastegate frantically openeing and closeing)

Sometimes it'll just bounce around from 11-13 PSI (better, but still annoying). Same kinds of things happen when I hit the high boost switch. I even hit 20 PSI for a sec .

My first guess is that the map sensor within the solenoid may be going out because of the readings while it is learning the wastegate base settings. Any other thoughts or opinions or where I could get a new solenoid from....I can't find one on Greddy's site

TIA
