mitsubishi td04, 11b Turbo ON a B Series Engine
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, im kinda new at the whole turbo thing here, What would it take to set this turbo up on my engine, I can get a good deal, turbo, mani, wastegate, bov acuator lines etc.. could a machine shop fit the mani to the B series.. Any info would be great. ideas, hints etc. Go for it, or waste of time? let me know thanks
I know id need a B series Mani, but could a machine shop cut my runners and match them to the mani comin with the turbo as the flanges for the turbo are already correct. ne info would be great

FYI, a TD04 sized turbo is SMALLLLLLLL! And if it's an "11g", then that compressor is way too small for a 1.8L. Heck, even on a 1.6L. You're just choking the motor with such a small turbine. You'll spool it quick, but it'll just choke up top.
If you're going to go with a Mitsubishi based turbo, look into a TD05 14B off a 1990-1994 DSM. You can find them for around $75-150, depending on the condition of the turbo. I believe BMC has a manifold that fits the Mitsu type flanges.
