What does the T stand for Turbo, such as T26 or T77
Hey guys just got a turbo car and I was wondering what the T's stand for as I guess they relate to numbers. My turbo is a T26, I'm assuming a big turbo is a T77. I can get that for my car, but I'll probably blow it up.
Sorry for the nOObie guestion, but bare with me.

Re: What does the T stand for Turbo, such as T26 or T77 (Dr.Rab01gsr)
the T just means that it is in the "T" series turbo chargers, HKS uses Garrett and the GT designation.
But according to this site I found the other day, large turbos such as the T78 tell us that the turbo is a T4 series turbo with a 78mm compressor inducer. T66 has a 66mm compressor inducer and so on.
