no you dont need the missing link. see without a standalone you use a regular honda map sensor which is hooked up to the stock honda computer. these map sensors and computer are not meant to see positive pressure numbers a.k.a boost. so the missing link is a fancy check valve that does not let the stock map see positive pressure. it just bleeds it off. however with a standalone or aem ems, this system utilized a 3 bar map sensor which is capable of readying and seeing boost, along with the aem system. there for u dont need the missing link with the aem.

 

Looks like someone needs to do a bit of homework before he even thinks of putting a turbo on his car lol

 

why dont we just help people instead of telling them to do their hw? this way he can understand it and maybe learn.
