I have emissions in less than a month, and I was wondering if I could use a Synapse Missing Link with my AFC hack and DSM 450's?? I've read on it a little but only see it used with a FMU. I am going to lower boost back down to 6psi on the 15g greddy kit I have, and lean it out a little and hopefully I'll pass. But like it says above, can I use the Missing link with the AFC to eliminate my check engine light still???

 

as long as u dont hit boost, u wont need a missing link, the map will be ok

 

I'm pretty sure I've been told that anything above 11psi the check engine light sets from a map sensor code, so would I still be ok boosting 6-7psi w/o a check engine light on?

No, I doubt it would run well enough to get it to the emissions shop.

Ask me how I know....oh btw do you want to buy a missing link? I'll sell it to you cheap.

 

well how do you know Nah, If I don't pass the first time, I'll just take a day during the weekend to take the kit off, get it running and pass emmissions and then back to boosting again.
