Default missing link and still getting check engine???

I have a missing link installed with my drag gen III kit, but when I hit boost I still get a check engine? Has anyone else had this problem? When I turn the car off the light is gone and will only come one at boost.
Is there anyway that I could have it upside down? I have the side that has the o-ring and the groove facing up and the Map sensor on top of that, any ideas?

Heh, at least your missing link works. I think I bought a lemon. I'm running the stock map sensor without the link, and when I hit boost, all is well. I've had it on for 4 days now and everytime I boost, no cel or anything. There really is only one way to install the link, groove side up with an oring there, not sure where the other oring they provide you with goes where.. but im assuming it goes to replace the one on your throttle body? Let me know what happens.

I didn't use the other o-ring I just used the stock one and used the other one they gave me on top. I didnt see any difference between the stock and the one they gave me but maybe I will swap them out

yeah, double check make sure it's not upside down, just look at the groove on one side and make sure they mate up with the MAP sensor

also, check for the ring not aligned when you install it, it sounded like the missing link doesn;t bleed boost like it needs to..

You are getting a CEL, but make sure its a map sensor code.

Did you hit boost before installing the missing link...you might have blown the sensor, they are cheap from a junk yard...buy another one and try that.

never boosted before the missing link. Went in and pulled the fuse and reset the codes and still gives me the CEL. I will try that.
