aight guys im doing a mini me on my d16a6 and since im opening up im really tempted to throw vitaras and eagle rods i have, but i dont have a couple parts for the turbo setup going on (holset hx35) and i dont feel like pulling apart my engine again to do this....but my engine is gonna be running sluggish w/o the turbo because of the low compression isnt it?

pistons out of suzuki engines that are very cheap (100 for 4) and can handle boost extremely well.

boost in the n/a forum?
i dont think the lower compression will bother you. it would motivate you to finish you parts build so you could feel the booooost soon.
it would make sense to just do it now and get it over with.

got myself a spoolinperformance log mani, 2.5 DP straight through to 2.5 vibrant muffler. Running a garrett t3 .48AR, .60AR housing w/60 trim wheel. Hoping to atleast get 260hp. GoodLuck with your build.

Yes, very. Look into the new fjt rods though, they help out the compression. Vitara builds with the lower compression are **** slow out of boost. We have a few cars running this setup, on about 23psi of boost. One made 350hp just recently.
