Default Mini me turbo?

Would it be possible to boost a D15b7/D16z6 mini me setup? Should i get a block guard and hone the pistons rings? i am looking to just boost 6-8 psi? I have gotten different answers from different people, i m looking for opinions from people who are expirienced with this stuff.

go for it....just get a thicker head gasket and lower the compression, dunno what honing the pistons is, no block guard needed stock cylinder walls are good for 250-300ish so i hear....i have a mini-me turbo setup...works great at 6psi i made 205whp....runs good, and you will love boost, better than n/a anyday....goodluck
