Mini me turbo
Ok I just got a basic junk yard turbo kit 42 trim T3 turbo with internal wastgate, STD manifold, dsm bov, dsm 450 injectors, johnny race car 6" intercooler on a d15b block with a z6 head. Sotck internals other than an unorthadox cam gear. car will be tuned on 5-7 pounds. I know the motor is already a high compression set up to begin with, my question is is this a good or bad set up. I mean the kit only cost $250

Add a chipped ecu to your list and you should have a cost effective, decent setup. Uberdata/Crome for obd1 and TurboEdit for obd0 come to mind.

Re: Mini me turbo (tilt)
I wanted to build a junkyard kit, and ended up spending alot more then I wanted to
Feels alot safer tho, and will make more power then i origionally planned

Re: Mini me turbo (SIUTAU)
I would put in a new headgasket and head studs regaurdless of mileage, they usually don`t hold past 200hp. 99k miles on a honda is nothing.
