starting my turbo build finally
Well ive finally got tired of just talking about putting a turbo kit together ,so i started buying .
I have a 90 crx si with a ls swap hasport mounts , omnipower coilovers , blox intake manifold .
the turbo parts that i have bought in the last week are garrett t3 .42 .48 , xs turbo rfl bov , tial wastegate , im also coverting to obd1 and i also picked up s300 hondata .
im planning on going with a log manifold and possibly a jrc intercooler . it might take another month or so before i can buy any more parts i will keep everyone updated

thanks , by 450's you mean dsm injectors , i thought about that but i think im goin to go with some rc's like 680 i think , i dont know for sure yet . my tuner recommended those to get as big as i thought i would ever use then he'd adjust it .
what do you guys think about that ?

you can run 680's but for 200-230hp the 450's would be more than enough. not to mention they are $200+ cheaper.

Re: starting my turbo build finally (CoreyR)
the dsm are good for up to 300 whp, thats about 12 to 14 psi on a ls and about 9 to 10 depending on the tuner on a gsr so i would recomend get a 3 bar mapsensor and go all the way to 300 whp why would u want to go to 200 to 300 if u could just go for 300 ?

Re: starting my turbo build finally (TURBO-WAWA)
ive read all over the place that stock ls's can handle 300 hp stock , im just not trying to push it to much until i can get the motor built , playin it safe i guess
well as long as my compression test and leakdown are good i should be fine right?
will stock axels be alright with close to 300 though?

Re: starting my turbo build finally (elrandeeto)
yo dawg just do like me and get some 1000 rc injectors and yes i kno there huge but i rather buy bigger and have more rooom to play with then to go to small and have to wase money buying bigger injectors cuz u can get the 1000 rc injectors and have them tuned for whatever ur setup is thas what im doin? and they all go for the same price on ebay like 315 i think shipped for 330 450 550 650 and etc but from what i learned u can run the 880 cuz it will give u a better idle then the 1000's but either ones will work hope this helped
