medical grade nitrous??????
whats the difference in medical grade nitrous and the reg stuff???? i hear it werks better but i want to kno for sure..

"medical grade" doesn't have the **** in it to stop you from sniffing it... as far as functionality in a motor... doubtful it makes a diff.

non-medical grade has sulfer added. it takes away the effect of nitrous oxide on human beings. it would be no better for you car to use medical grade.

Car related nitrous: Sulfur is added to help people sniffing the leak ( what I read, I doubt on that source tho)
Medical grade nitrous : Hell it's way more costly, near perfect mix everytime you use it, no sulfur in it.
I don't think you'll see improuvement in switching to this since it's the oxygen in the nitrous that make the car go, and you don't have more oxygen in medical / car related nitrous...

The sulfer dioxide in "non-medical" grade nitrous leaves deposits in your catalitic converter after using it over a period of time, were as the sulfer free "medical" grade nitrous doesn't leave such deposits.

Not only are they bad for performance, they are bad for the environment. The EPA is a bunch of dumbasses, you do not spew heavy metal particulate as a solution to CO and NOx emissions.

the place down the street from me sells medical grade for $5/lb
better for your motor, IMHO
less oil acidity and it becomes close to being untraceable if you are having 'warranty' issues with the dealer and they send your oil to be tested

I found a cat on the rode once it drug under my car for about 20ft. cat = (catalytic converter)
medical grade is untraceable? that isn't a bad idea!!!!

thats about how much it costs around here in nj the cheapest i found was 35 bucks but it felt like the bottle didnt last as long as my first bottle. 
i heard some places put way more air in them to keep it look like its pressurized nicely. anyone kno in nj where i can get the bottle filled affordably nice.

from what i understand, medical grade is CHEAPER than car-grade b/c it doesn't have as much or even any sulfer in it. I filled my bottle up at L & M Engines in Hatboro and was talking to the owner for a while, and he said he was in the process of trying to get medical grade b/c it's like 1 dollar cheaper per pound. I paid 4.00/lb there.
b/c they were so accomodating: L & M Engines in Hatboro, PA is serious place. I'm sure most people have never heard of them, but they are experienced and skilled with EVERY god damn machine possible to assemble engines to spec. They mostly do huge demestic work, but also work on imports and know about them. anyone looking for a place to build their race engine the right way and to spec, check them out. I've never seen the machines they had there at any "performance garage" i've ever been to. for them being experienced, knowledgable, and meticulous in engine building and internal work.
