Default mechanical vs electrical

I am getting my turbo soon, and I was curious as to the big differences that make electrical so much more expensive. and is it really even worth it to buy electrical over mechanical.

thanks

is it safe to assume you mean gauges? such as EGT, boost, FP?

gotta be more specific captain...

as far as turbos...i would definately get rid of yours, and get the electric e-RAM

remember only to engage after full throttle!

lol
anyway.
electrical are better because a mechanical gauge needs a direct reading
example: oil pressure, you have to have oil running into the gauge to see a reading.

this is bad.
hot oil+driver=pain.

do mechanical gauges...they act alot faster to changes and are way more accurate. If you affraid of getting stuff inside the car, run steel braided lines. Remeber that if an oil line breaks at 80psi...its not gonna be that hard to plug and wont spray that much because those little plastic lines dont carry much volume. Oh and the only reason I even answered this question is because im showing a little hometown love since it says your from Irvine....Mike
