Default Is a mechanical boost meter realiable when installed in a guage bezel?????????

I wanted to get my sport comp meter installed in a dual gauge bezel for my civic. Thing is, im worried that my meter would be reading inaccuratly due to the tighter space when compared to using a pillar. Should I be concerned?????? Thanks for the help.
