Default MBC: Best way to set up Vacuum Lines ??

which is the best way to set up the MBC Vacuum lines??

here is how most ppl do it:
http://turboxs.com/standard_boost_controller.htm

on the bottom of this page they have a different way of doing it:
http://www.geocities.com/chmwatson/FAQs/mbc.html

i have also seen ppl use the top port of a Tial wastegate and tap into one of the vaccums. this is suppose to help the Turbo Spool faster.

which is the best way to set up the MBC Vacuum lines??

what ive always done is just drill a hole in your intercooler pipe after the intercooler...on hondas the side of the charge pipe is a good spot. then screw in the appropriate size brass barbed nipple fitting (put some jb weld around it to make sure theres no leaks) then use that as your pressure source for the mbc

i tapped my turbo for a source of pressure. i am referring to the Vacuum Lines being connected and the best connection for faster Turbo Spool.

i dont have any personal experience but from what ive heard the turbo isnt the best place to get a pressure source from because right at the compressor the pressure fluctuates alot more then down stream.

and just hook up the mbc between the pressure source and the side wastegate port

i had it on a 90 degree aluminum bend right after the turbo and my boost used to Creep and Spike. as soon as i tapped the Turbo it was working properly.

I run mine right off the turbo also. I'm also curious as how to make the best use of the top port on the wastegate.. Would installing a boost controler to that port work better than putting it inline to the lower port?

theres no making best use of the top port..if you have a mbc just use the side port...
