Max Y8 block
I have a question! I will push my brothers Y8 to end, current set up, everything stock small .48 godspeed turbo at 7psi, stock injector and fuel pressure set at 70psi, dyno tuning making 187whp, working on, i got some ferrea F5000 flat bottom to put on, new set of arp head studs, with a block guard, and some 675cc injectors, my bottom end still stock, but engine is strong well mainteined and only 103k miles on it, what max hp rating this block will hold, with new setup? Thanks all comment and advices are welcome
Common knowledge. 220-230hp. You're pushing it if you try and get anything more out of it. With a stock bottom end don't even bother with all that other crap. The rods will break long before anything else.
Also not running a proper EMS with stock injectors have got to be some of the riskiest moves to do. Your injectors are probably running near 100% duty. I don't know who tld you to put together a turbo set up this way but it's wrong. Don't know how you aren't experiencing headlift. I'm guessing someone told you it's safe to "run less than 8lbs" on a stock engine didn't they.

I got my fuel pressure that high because Im running now stock injectors, thats ehy did just to be a fun car to drive and run i have it like that for around 6 months now its a daily driven and never give a problem, i will upgrade now to e85 with the new injectors and put more boost on it but i want give it some passes at track, so 250whp is what bottom rnd will hold?! Thanks for the info will post some pics later on, i never takr to track with this set up but runs desent, i drive an e46 m3, and i took it by 2-3 can till 100mph something that is acceptable for a sohc on 7psi

Not stock system, I install a 255hpl threadstone fuel pump, will put 675cc injectors. I will try to push it as far i could it still be a fun car but now its a daily because my brother likes it, we trying to push around 230-250whp max then on 11psi runing e85, what you guys think i could make?
Nop i got a p28 chip, but is tuned on a s300, with crome i believe, sorry for skip that detail, i got a emusa wastegate, godspeed turbo .48, hks bov, ebay 2.5 piping and intercooler, clamps and couplings from threadstone, oil deed and return line from threadstone, cast iron manifold, automotive fuel pressure regulator and fuel filter, 2,5 down pupe straight to end, and stafe 3 XTR ebay clutch that the rest of the set up

just turn the boost up until something pops. save yourself the hassle of doing things right.
S300 on crome? Are you on drugs? There is no such thing. And you THINK the engine management is the computer but you run Hondata on a P28? Sounds like bullshit.
You aren't tuned. You're running stock, except for the injectors, and you know it. That's why the fuel pressure is up so high. **** you should should just go old school and get a Missing Link and an FMU.
Install all your mismatched mods, take it to the guy who tuned it on "S300 crome" and have him get the most out of it. We don't do fortune telling here.

I ask because i dont know about computer tune and **** but none of you still have explain me what a EMS is! So before you tell me im in drug which i don't do that PIECE OF ****! Explain me what are you talking about, and no i went an ran in a dyno with my computer wich is a p28 with a s300 board which you solde to it and have a small square port that a cable with a usb on the other end is connected to computer. Its tuned, no on a base map, n stock computer, so please be patients with me because i don't k ow about tuning and ecu! My first question is to know how much block will factory hold! I got my answer 250whp, thanks for the info
I see we have a language barrier/issue here.
Put all your new shiny stuff on and take it back to the guy that tuned it on your S300 CROME P28 Hondata ECU. He'll get the most out of it. When he's done he'll tell you what you're making AFTER the dyno.
Tuned on CROME on Hondata. Brilliant.

dude. you cant have s300 crome... there is no such thing.
you either have a Hondata s300
or tuned on crome. w a p28 ecu.
YOU CANT HAVE BOTH plain and simple. if you need more help provide more helpful info. if you have the info you need ask for the thread to be closed.
