Default Max Y8 block

I have a question! I will push my brothers Y8 to end, current set up, everything stock small .48 godspeed turbo at 7psi, stock injector and fuel pressure set at 70psi, dyno tuning making 187whp, working on, i got some ferrea F5000 flat bottom to put on, new set of arp head studs, with a block guard, and some 675cc injectors, my bottom end still stock, but engine is strong well mainteined and only 103k miles on it, what max hp rating this block will hold, with new setup? Thanks all comment and advices are welcome

Common knowledge. 220-230hp. You're pushing it if you try and get anything more out of it. With a stock bottom end don't even bother with all that other crap. The rods will break long before anything else.

Also not running a proper EMS with stock injectors have got to be some of the riskiest moves to do. Your injectors are probably running near 100% duty. I don't know who tld you to put together a turbo set up this way but it's wrong. Don't know how you aren't experiencing headlift. I'm guessing someone told you it's safe to "run less than 8lbs" on a stock engine didn't they.

Why is your fuel pressure so high? You have upgraded fuel injectors so the up in fuel psi isnt needed.

The pressure is up that high more than likely to compensate for the fact he's running stock injectors.

throw in some dsm 450's for $70 bux. 675's are overkill for your set up.

oh, and listen to ^

so basically you dont know what engine management you're running and have cheaped out everywhere possible

just turn the boost up until something pops. save yourself the hassle of doing things right.

S300 on crome? Are you on drugs? There is no such thing. And you THINK the engine management is the computer but you run Hondata on a P28? Sounds like bullshit.

You aren't tuned. You're running stock, except for the injectors, and you know it. That's why the fuel pressure is up so high. **** you should should just go old school and get a Missing Link and an FMU.

Install all your mismatched mods, take it to the guy who tuned it on "S300 crome" and have him get the most out of it. We don't do fortune telling here.

I see we have a language barrier/issue here.
Put all your new shiny stuff on and take it back to the guy that tuned it on your S300 CROME P28 Hondata ECU. He'll get the most out of it. When he's done he'll tell you what you're making AFTER the dyno.

Tuned on CROME on Hondata. Brilliant.
