Max HP of a b18b
Hi guys, just boosted by b18b block, and have achieved 230whp, However i would like some input into what you guys rekon the stock internals of a b18b is able to handle....
Ive got 550cc injectors and a hondata.... all this on 6psi...
Thanks in advance guys... if there are more details that you need, ask and i will answer ASAP!

Re: Max HP of a b18b (boostdc)
I would say 10psi daily and not more than 12psi for the track.A B18b can hold 12psi but not daily driving getting the **** kicked out of it.My buddy has been running 10psi daily on stock internals for 2 years now not a single problem. It's all depending on how you drive your car but safely I would go with 10psi daily.

Wow...that seems so hard to believe. A stock B18b only puts out about 112-120hp to the wheels STOCK!! Damn, you must be using a T-100 turbine or sumthing...!!!!

There are several LS-T's running around at 12+ psi daily driven and making around 300hp with hondata.
P.S. the question was "how much HP can a b18b1 hold"...not how much boost can it hold.

I wouldn't blindly ASSume intake pressure has a goddamn thing to do with the power produced, how it stresses your engine, and how much power your engine can hold, personally.

Re: (J. Davis)
I would take it a step further and even say we cant measure a "max HP level." Its all relative. Get the right parts, the right EMS and a good tuner...and you'll find out your limit when he tells you
-Nick, who remembers when 240whp was the "max" then 260whp, then 300whp, now there are guys running 320+whp day in day out without any issues.

it says 298 @ 12psi
263 looks to be 10psi
