Max Hp with 440's?
I was just wandering what is the most whp some of you have made using dsm 440's. My goal is 250 whp on my d16. Are these injectors big enough to get me there safely? Oh, I will be running hondata s200b.

for 300bhp i need 550's? thats like 260 whp....Anyways im making 307whp with my 450's, they are pretty close to maxed out though.

You have taken duty cycle and fuel pressure into consideration haven't you?
Or are you saying the calculator is a scam to get us to buy huge injectors?
I always want to learn new things. Feel free to school me.

yes i did the calculator @ 80% duty cycle and stock fuel pressure...im not saying its anything..maybe i messed something up?

eh...I am just wondering. I got greater than 600cc for 300 bhp at 80% Duty cycle, 40psi. I am assuming psig = Fuel pressure at rail in pounds per square inch.
Does this mean we are all operating above 80% duty cycle and/or over stock fuel pressure? I only seek enlightenment.

Re: Max Hp with 440's? (slashDEVslashNULL)
the problem of using RC calculator is the BSFC #. They tells you to use .60-.65 for turbocharge application but when I calculate my BSFC by using my HP data and pressure, my BSFC comes out .43. That means, i'm in N/A application which is not true. I am assuming their BSFC average data is for domestic vehicles which is less efficient than imports. Try use .40-.45 for BSFC # and see what injector size they recommend. Also play around with the fuel pressure and duty cycle. I run mine max at 90 % duty cycle.
