I would wager the k26 is similar to a larger T3, such as the .60 a/r versions...I have a .48/.42 A/R on my d16z6 and am reasonably happy with it. If anything, I would say it is on the large side, for a street/autoX car. I was going to slap an rbh5 (or is it rhb5, I forget?) on there, but after seeing how tiny they are, I'm not sure I could do that

So, I'd say it is a good choice for a street car and <~18psi.

I used one on my d15 at one point...
It seemed like good turbo, I think they are tad bigger than a typical t3
But they are junk as far as reliabilty.
I had to rebuild mine at one point. Other poeple I have known will say that as well. THey aren't so good after sitting in junkyards for years.

All used turbos = junk. I won't give more than $50 for one, as I consider them buildable cores.

Are you sure it's a K26? I've seen a couple of 3DLZ's beeing handed around as K26's.

I have researched this turbo cause I was looking into buying one. They support up to 300hp but thats really pushing it. VE starts falling off when you start boosting that high cause it gets so hot. I would look into a different turbo for your setup.

Good Luck
