Default Max boost on stock sleeves?

What is the max boost you can run safely on stock sleeves? I'm just curious what people are running on there daily driver. This is assuming that the motor is built and tunned running on pump gas.

You are asking the wrong question. Max HP on stock sleeves is what you are wanting to know. Boost all depends on the size of the turbo.

So i could run lets say 20+ pounds of boost, and as long as the HP isn't too much then I'll be safe.

I've seen numerous stock sleeved B series cars make 350whp+ on pump gas and that's being conservative. With pistons and rods you should have a pretty reliable set up sufficing your car is tuned right. The tune is the key to making reliable and safe hp. I'm sure everyone would agree.

Ask your tuner how much power on pump gas and stock sleeves he is comfortable tuning your car too... then you will have your answer.

Depending on your compression ratio, I think anything approaching 400 hp is pushing it. I cracked my factory sleeve in cylinder #4 w/15 psi and a 75 shot, and yes it was tuned right.

If your car was tuned "right" you wouldn't have cracked a sleeve... it's all about the tuning.

Check the link in my sig. That is just one of 4 or 5 running well over 600whp on stock sleeves.

My bad, my stock liners were bored and cylinder pressure was getting steep. Im not going to go against Evans, he can tune.
