Default max boost on fmu and inline pump... and some ranting

Just curious how much boost any of you have ran with a 12:1 fmu and inline pump on stock bottom end. Interested in setups, which motors, where your timing was, how long it lasted, etc. Reason I'm asking is because my engine bay caught on fire last summer and I have since repaired all the damage. I'm on my second b18b shortblock. The last one cracked a sleeve because my wastegate never opened. It's been nothing but headaches. I'm at a point with this car where I'm not sure if it would be a wise investment to shell out the money for a standalone so I can run more boost, considering my current motor does not have equal compression on all cylinders-one is about 20 psi lower than the rest. I dont think I would be able to safely take advantage of having a standalone without strengthening my bottom end. I mean, is it really worth it for someone like me who doesn't plan on doing internals, to spend the money on a standalone? Then I'd have to factor in the tuning costs which I'm sure could be in excess of $500. I have an opportunity to get a pump and fmu and be on my way. Once I get those part, I would have the option of selling the Honda with the motor and turbo setup, and put an sr20det in my 95 240sx. Factory turbo and rear wheel drive to me is What do you guys think?

with stock injectors, 12:1 fmu, you'll max out the fuel pump at 6psi already...although a lil on the up side is okay...

I wouldn't go pass .5 bar...

get a larger injectors and smaller disk...then you'll compensate a bit

I want to buy 550 injectors because I'm planning on getting hondata later...so what disc would be recommended for now with the 550s?

with 550, uunless you have VAFC or safc and FPR, you're not gonan be able to idle properly..too much for stock ecu to handle...
