Default map sensor Question

i have a 99integra LS with the Greddy kit with the "blue box" feul managment. i want to get rid of that and go with the s-afc II so that it can be programed. my question is what sort of device do i need to hook up so that the map sensor doesn't throw codes when it sees boost. one thing that i saw was the jackson racing map controller http://www.jacksonracing.com/m...h.gif do any of you know if this is a good piece of equipment?

nothing else is needed, thats what the "hack" is all about. get a afc, 440-450cc inj, walbro fuel pump and you will be set

The hack is so you can use larger injectors. It doesnt allow you to run straight boost on your map sensor though, it will still code up. You will need to install check valves in the map supply hose to dump off the boost signal. I have used the JR map controller and it works well, so does the Comptech Signal modifier. The JR unit changes intake temp readings so the ecu can adjust the timing accordingly, the comptech doesnt.

No because the map controller never lets teh ECu see boost.
