Default Map sensor, comes with f-max kit

Is the map sensor that comes with the f-max kit replaceable. As in going to a auto part store and getting another if so what type or kind is it? I think i need to replace mine. TIA

Yes, GM 2 bar MAP sensor.

It kinda pissed me off finding out it was a 2 bar MAP sensor. They advertise on the web page that it's good to 2 bars of boost (30psi). A 2 bar MAP sensor is only good to 1 bar of boost (15psi).

Well a 2 bar is only good for 15psi. Vacum + 1 bar= a 2bar map.
So, vacum + 2 bar= 3bar map.

Make sense?

I don't understand your reply. There wasn't a question as to how much boost a 2 bar MAP sensor could take. I made that clear in my message. What I said was the F-Max advertizes that the MF2 and MAP they supply supports up to 2 bar of Boost (30psi), NOT 1 bar of vacuum and 1 bar of Boost.

Direct quote from their site:
Delivers fuel up to 2 bar or 30 psi of boost.

That would mean they supply a 3 bar MAP sensor, but they don't. Vacuum is not classified as boost.

well, that's how they wrote it, then they are jst trying to fool you. If they say 2bad, then its up to 14.7psi, if it is actually a 3 bar, then it' s 21psi. What is so friggin' hard to understand about that? I know vacuum is not bost, but it is all a part of manifold pressure, wether it be + or -it is still measured by the MAP sensor. That's how it is, just deal with it. If you don't like it, then go buy another god damn MAP sensor.

Geez, chill Dude. For someone who was just asking wether the Hondata would replace a BTM, you definitely have a strong opinion on this. Even if it is wrong. What you're telling me is that I can advertise a 1 bar MAP sensor which only measures vacuum as being able to handle 1 bar of boost 15psi.

No-one's having a hard time understanding anything. Their advertising is wrong. I never said I wasn't dealing with it. Peace, man.

On my buddies' Fmax h22a lude, the car actually ran better with the check valves. We tried the missing link, but the car reacted funny to it. We just stuck with check valves and everthing was ok.

On my car I prefer the missing link, but remember all cars are different.

Actually the question was answered. You're asking a different question. There's a MAP sensor that comes with the F-Max kit that's exclusively used for the MF2 Injector controller. It's a GM 2 bar MAP sensor that can be replaced with another GM MAP sensor. It looks like this:

After that, the check valve that goes to the stock MAP sensor is different. The F-Max supplied one looks like this:

and yes, you can replace it with a Missing Link:
