Default 3 bar map sensor

i am hearing some confusing things about how many pounds a 3 bar will hold.. i am currently a 27 psi and am wondering how much longer my map sensor will hold up if i turn up the boost..... some people say the 3bar is only good to 28 psi, even thought 3bar is like 43.5 psi. please clarify this for me cause i am contimplating the 3.5 and the 5 from aem.... what are your thoughts?

i believe it is in fact only good to 28lbs, although i have no idea why it is called the 3 bar when clearly 28lbs is not 3 bars. I would go with a omni power or hondata 4 bar, i believe it reads to 43lbs and fits in stock location for a cleaner look.

Its 28 psi since you have to take out the 14.7psi just for the atmosphere

If you plan on turning up the boost anymore, look into a 4-5 bar map sensor.

If you want to be technical since this is honda-TECH:

3 bar x 14.5psi/bar = 43.5 psi

43.5psi - 14.5psi (for atmosphere) = 29psi is the max a 3 bar could get to, but remember the atmosphere fluctuates in pressure so go to 28 for error. Happy boosting.
