no, i was using the basic desing of that bypass as a basis for a combination block off plate/vacuum line for a 3bar map..... just visualive the pic WITHOUT the check valve

that I understand, but still not JT's comments, which basically say what you are trying to do is incorrect.

well JT is wrong because the original place where the stock MAP sensor goes does see vacuum and boost.

JT is smoking crack

J/K... The reason why you're not getting this 98lude is because what JT said last would hold true only in a supercharger (JR) setup. Basically if you TB location for the map sensor doesn't see boost (with a JR supercharger it won't) then you have to move it to somewhere at the manifold after the air is compressed. Be it either the stock map sensor or a 3BAR one. If you're turbo or Vortech charged then the stock location can be used to see both boost and vac. The picture above with the t fittin in the plate and a checkvalve is representative of a cheap "missing link" setup. Get rid of the checkvalve in the setup and you got what you want if you are turbo and need to put a 3BAR sensor on.

Hahaha... sorry for the confusion guys . I wasn't thinking about turbo when I made the original post. I later realized the different setup and edited the post.
