Default Map Sensor

Does anyone now what the limititaions of the factory map sensor in accuracy in ralation to boost levels. Im told that my sensor on my 99 Si is only accurate to 10lbs> anyone know the truth>?

a hondata using a stock map sensor can read about 12 psi.

yup, around 11-12 psi.

2 bar map , do the math. don't forget atmosphere pressure.

A stock map sensor is said to be good till 12lbs. But you have to look at actual barometric pressure which would be 6psi! So in reality it is good up to 6psi, as I was told.

honda map sensors cant read boost
so theyre good till about 0psi.
stock map sensors CAN see boost.
Stock ECUs CANNOT
