I'm currently running the Blox MBC on my turbo B16 and I love it, no drawbacks.
Had it for a little over a month, works perfect.

Is this the one you're running?

I have done a lot of research and found that overall experience from people using the Hallman to be very good. Most were happy because it held boost steady and no boost creep. For $100+ you can get one that you can adjust from inside the car.

FYI...I have not used one but whenever I decide to replace my Home Depot boost controll I am getting a Hallman.

I used a Blox MBC on my LS-T Integra. Phil @ Spoolin Performance turned me on to them. Held boost SOLID. I loved it. Had it on the car for two years.

If I hadn't went to AEM Tru Boost on the new car, I would go back to it. 75 bucks well spent.

Looks mean nothing. The Hallman has been a very fantastically reputable. They tend to use better materials on average than your usual ball-spring type MBC

I recommend simply the Hallman ES

i would reccomend a elec. boost conroller if you can afford one. I picked up a gredy profec 2 for 75 bucks on ebay. its awesome because you can literally run three different boost setting. I run a 6 psi spring , 8 psi low boost and 11 psi high boost
