Default Manual Boost Controller

What manual boost controller do you guys recommend? I'm looking for something that isn't too much but works effectively. I was thinking about one from here: http://www.dawesdevices.com/

I think the DSM guys like these. Supposedly they're better than the diy home depot ones. Should I just make one myself for about $10 or are there manual ones that are better (boost faster)?

I haven't heard of opinions about the XS.

If I have to choose between the Joe P and the Hallman, what would you guys recommend?

the Joe P works, but it raised my minimum boost level significantly. Enjoy my archived thread where I brought it up.: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=347304

I just got my Turbonetics manual boost controller in yesterday. It looks great. It seems much more sophisticated than most others. Check it out for yourself.

Can't decide between the Hallman and the Joe P. What's the price on the TurboXS and the turbonetics? Thanks.

I looked on Ebay and basicly saw what was out there. There was a bit of everything, even turbo xs. I chose the Turbonetics due the reasons stated above. You should pay around 60-70 bucks for the Turbonetics!
Good luck.
Also if your intrested, I have an Apexi AVC-R for sale on ebay!
