Default Manual boost controller?

I want to get the greddy profec, but I was wondering If I can get a cheap manual valve go up my boost so I can get it tuned?

I figure the money I save from buying an electric controller now I can use to tune my car and just get the electronic one for later

anyone ever used these?

manuals seem to slow down spooling by about 600rpms tho, i had a manual for 3 years and just switched to a profec and i love the faster response

I have a Hallman MBC with the ceramic ball and it spools only about 100 RPMs later then my old Profec2, and it holds the proper boost level even when it gets cold.

The ones in your picture are junk. A buddy of mine bought one, we didnt even get to use it, the quality of the **** and the fittings spoke for itself.
