Hey Guys I recently over-rev my motor & the #4 piston went out!
Now that I got the block Fixed. I assembled the motor Using the same B18C1 Head.
Re-Did the Valve Adjustments Perfectly. OE Specs.
Problem:
Now the car Sounds Like a Truck Motor?? (From the Head)
It doesn’t sound Like a stock Normal (Quiet) Head (like before the over-rev)
It seems like the #3 Intake or Exhaust Valves are not closing completely or functioning Normal because that’s where the Noise is coming from!
Because when I try to rev the motor past 4K it boggs. But when you Partial Throttle You’ll Kinda get by.
What does this problem seem to Be Guys???

most likely your vavles are bent. i had couple friends do the same thing and had bent vavles. its time to get a BUILT HEAD!

that sucks.
what is the easiest way to check for bent valves when the head is out?
