Default making my civic forced induction "14b"

What things will i need to make a 14b work in my car? I have the 14b, o2 housing, smic, oil lines. I know that i need HF manifold, the adapter for it to fit the 14b. I know that the 14b boosts 8-10psi with its internal wastegate. My question is do i need larger injectors? a fuel pump? Can i boost with the internal wastegate without having problems with fuel or with my motor handling it? Oh by the way me motor is a D16y8

Also would i have to get rid of my a/c?

instead of half assing, and using old dsm stuff, just buy all the right stuff the first time, it's saves time and the results are alot better just go to the forced induction classifieds you will find everything you need

Hey man there is nothing wrong with using dsm turbos. I don't need a new turbo or anything new for that matter to make it a non "half-*** job". What makes you think i'll be doing a half *** job? The answers i need are the only from those that i asked.

you did that with a built motor right? How much boost can my d16y8 handle from a 14b? Can i keep the stock internal wastegate? To tell you the truth i'm doing this to my friend's civic with that motor, I'm a dsm guy so i have no clue with hondas. What does a fmu do? I know non-turbos going turbo use that, but me coming a stock turbocharged car i only know about AFPR and not about SFMU. I'm personally going to be doing his setup. I need to know if making it forced induction will require me to upgrade my injectors even if i run a low psi such as 8 "low for a dsm guy".

Research Homemadeturbo.com

He said he did that on a STOCK LS(1.8 Integra motor). I'd run it off the wastegate(8psi) but the motor could possibly handle 12psi(Stock MAP sensors don't work past 12psi anyways so that is your limit unless you switch MAPs) Yes you will have to keep the internal wastegate if you use a HF manifold and adapter. DO NOT use a FMU. Fuel management is cheap, get a chipped ECU and run crome. For injectors I'd use DSM 450cc injectors(You might have some lying around even) They take very little modification to the seal rings to work.

And again, not to be a dick but the search button works good, and Homemadeturbo.com has LOTS of information

Oh and im using a 14b on my Stock LS also, Lag?? Whats that? lol

Or for daily driving, mtn driving, autocross, etc. 216hp is plenty for my stock LS

Thanks for the info guys. Uh i haven't upgraded my injectors from my dsm, but i will soon as im going to get a Holset HX35 and upgrading to 850cc. Hey man 14b still has a bit of lag on my 4g63, well compared to my old t25-now thats quick spooling. Cool we won't need external wastegate, thats makes our project a bit better.
