Default Machine Shop? Hot Tanking/Jet wash?

Hi
I have a GSR block that is super dirty and Im trying to get it super super clean. I want the block to look brand new, as if it came straight from the dealer. On the inside of the block oil has stained the aluminum a nasty brown color, and the outside is covered in old oil and grease and residue build up. What can i do?

alot of people on here have spray painted with that hi temp paint with good results, just get the aluminum color. Your best bet is to get it cleaned by the machine shop first and then hit it with the spray paint.

yes they can...its most offend refered to as hottanking...basically the motor goes on a rotating stand and is washed in a huge parts washer w/ degreaser and other chemicals....you still have to go at it w/ some sanding if you want it to look good...bottom line tho no motor is gonna look brand spankin new...

I have soaked the entire block with engine degreaser 6x. I then sprayed on laquer thinner and mineral spirits. I have doused this thing with so many chemicals but still no show quality finish. Im just gonna bring it to the machine shop. I have put so much time into cleaning this stupid thing, I just dont understand why the crap doesnt come off!
