LSvtec turbo idle issue when HOT searched
hi all,
I have been battling this issue for a few months now...
I have changed the throttle body and TPS
I have bought and installed a new IACV (no FITV OBD2)
did smoke check for vacuum leaks, no leaks present, potentially maybe small leak at HKS BOV but nothing out of the ordinary
Basic LSVTEC turbo
shot peened rods
ls pistons
gsr head with valves and 3 angle
new build with oem water pump , oil pickup ect...
Skunk2 original gsr intake mani with no emblems.
3 bar GM map sensor
p28 tuned with chrome
walbro 255 and aem fuel pressure regulator
I almost have it down perfect however, after I let the car warm up, drive it for a bit, go to a red light , my rolling idle stays at 1500 RPMS untill i stop, then it drops and almost stalls, then sits at about 500-600 rpms......
I turn the car off, turn it back on and it idles normal. It seems to change after I drive the car above lets say 15-25 MPH and then wants to see a really low idle....
any suggestions would be great... thank you for your time.
NOTE when I unplug the IACV the car dies instantly...and i replaced the DIZZY new plugs gapped appropriatly

from what I had last time, the IACV was sticking not sending a CEL code....
i think the tuner may have over compensated because I think he adjusted the rolling idle (either at 14% or added 14% i cant remember).
anyways. Looking to get a new turbo because this one is showing small signs of leakage from the seal. any help is appreciated...

I've had this similar problem before, when I change to a new IACV after tune the car my idle was a mess, after long research and mess with the car, Finally I enter in the program reset the IACV compensation to 0 and adjust the idle by Honda specs. and voila!!
