High surging idle but engine dies when IACV hole plugged in TB
High Idle after skunk2 manifold swap. The car idle is not lumpy but surge about 1500-2000 rpm functionaly. My idle does increase if I repeatly step on the brake pedal, is this common? My TB does not have a FITV. Took off the IACV sensor blue/black yellow/? while car running, idle does drops down but with CEL and car runs like ****. Took off the intake pipe, check the TB and cover the IACV hole. Apparently it dies. Does this mean I have a bad IACV??? I use a smoke machine to check my vaccum leak and everything seems to be fine. No leak at all...I recalibrate the TPS and replace the map sensor..I NEED SOME HELP
