lsvtec dyno, graph inside
well i was having a bunch of issues on the dyno (as if im not always having issues).
this was done on 7-8 psi, pretty much right off the .5 bar spring.
wasnt the final run, but maybe the cleanest. the a/f spike has been fixed a lil more, and there is more timing at the crossover now to help make the tq flatter.
final #'s were 261/201

good to see its back and running
why is the hp/tq crossover point so far down the graph? I thought its always sposed to be 5252 bc horsepower is just a derivative or torque

Re: (dunkd)
it does, but one side of the graph is tq, the other is hp, and they are scaled differently.
im glad its running too, even if on lower boost for now. its sooooo damn nice out today, i dont know why im not driving around right now

nice numbers, cant wait to see some high boost
btw, even though the hp/tq are scaled diff on either sides... the RPM axis is still the same so it should still cross at 5252 no?

no because the scale difference changes the how far up or down the line is placed on the graph,
yes i did a lot, yes its low boost, i was having trouble holding the boost, im to lazy to look at it now

the SCALES ARE DIFFERENT people!!!!!!! lol.
you need to tune VTEC rpm point. looks like VTEC needs to be set a bit earlier... like 5K
pretty good #'s for low boost

haha thanks, and thanks
although i did pay to have the dyno to myself, i didnt get much actual tuning done, i was busy trying to troubleshoot, and had like a 11 hour workday in at that point.
ill try the vtec eariler, that would help too with the ls trans im running

gonna try and get some vids soon, i have to borrow a friend and his camera, and we work opposite schedules.
good news, boost is up to 11 psi, but i think im gonna have to swap out the spring in my mbc to the higher psi one.
well bad news always overrides good news...my #2 cyl has about 95 psi compression, which im going to assume is where my coolant has been going. ugh

The wastegate springs for Tial are $20, so at 15psi I know you will be much happier!!
