Default LSTURBO question on setting it up.

I have a 97 Auto LS Integ with NOS (60shot)
So far i have springs, shcoks, cam gears, MSD, intake and exhaust. I plan to get a Greddy Turbo Kit and i want to be able to use the Turbo and Nos without blowing up or changing the tranny.
Looking for ideas on how to build the motor, save the tranny, and a way minimize the loss of power because it is an Automatic. I've heard of a torque converter, but i dunno if it exist for my car or if it is a myth. Help. :

How much boost do you plan to run, what are your power goals? Answer those, and a few people should be able to assist you in parts recomendations...

I highly suggest you do some more reading on HT.... you don't sound ready for a upgarde like turbo..... Get lots of FI info in the forced induction forum.

I want to get a Greddy Turbo, but i dunno what kind of Transmission and Internal upgrades i need, or where to get it. I know that i can not maximize the full potential of the LsTurbo, unless i get a manual swap, but i don't want to get that just now. Instead i'm wondering if there is a Torque Converter for my car and how much that will cost.
For the engine upgrade, i'm thinking about getting Crower Rods, but i don't know what kind of Pistons, and Low compression Cams.
Help is needed, any suggestiongs will help.

Low compression cams?

Do what he said visit the HT DI forum and do some reading. Also forget about the Crower Rods, eagle rods will do the job and cost 1/2 the price.

I'll put it like this, you could run the greddy kit stock as it is at 5psi or whatever it comes outta the box as and be fine at least for a few years on the automatic or mabye until you sell/total/otherwise get rid of the car.... I guess if you wanted you could add a bigger tranny cooler to the mix to cool the tranny down more.
