Default LS/VTEC turbo guys/ oil line question

Last year when I had my LS turbo motor in I took the feed for the turbo off the back of the block where the sending unit was. My question is, can I also T into that line to feed the head oil? Will I starve either the turbo or head from oil by doing so? Whats the best way to feed both of these places?

You can tee from either end of that line. I do mine all at the block, and some friends have their turbo feed T'd right before the head. Both work the same.

i had same issues...http://www.lightningmotorsports.com/...C_Complete.gif this is best salution....it not only give good oil feeds..and its filted oil.... no chance of tee breaking off the back on engine.

i would say to do it right by using the GE kit but i know there are some other companies that sell similar setups. the pressure and volume coming through the oil filter is more than enough to supply both the turbo and the head.

Does anyone have any pics of their oil lines going to the head and turbo? Please post them.

good question either way is fine, a well known shop in CA is makin the special plug so I can run the oil line to the head and turbo line as one and have it pluged till im ready to boost. I will post pictures when I get it back in 2 weeks.
